How to Use Meta Pocket
A beginner-oriented walkthrough of Pocket’s create, test, publish and remix loop.
Install Pocket, explore a few gizmos, describe one small interactive idea, test the generated version, refine one issue at a time, then publish or save it.
1. Learn the format before creating
Play five or ten gizmos and notice what works in the first two seconds. Pocket favors touch-first ideas with minimal explanation. Save examples with clear feedback and short sessions.
2. Start with a buildable prompt
Create a 30-second tilt game. Move a blue ball through a simple maze, add three yellow stars, show the timer at the top, and display a replay button when time ends.
This specifies input, objective, objects, duration and end state without overloading the first generation.
3. Refine in small passes
- Fix the core input and collision.
- Adjust speed and difficulty.
- Add score, timer and restart.
- Improve colors, sound and instructions.
- Test from a fresh start three times.
4. Publish responsibly
Choose a clear title and cover, disclose if a remix builds on someone else’s work, and avoid personal photos or copyrighted media you do not want reproduced. After publishing, watch where players quit or misunderstand the goal, then revise.
Features, pricing and terms can change quickly. Recheck the linked sources and current official terms before making a commercial or platform decision.
