What makes a worthwhile remix
Swap the control scheme, reverse the objective, introduce a new risk–reward rule or adapt the mechanic to a new format. Merely changing colors creates noise. Keep the original creator attribution provided by the platform.
Ask for useful feedback
Do not ask “Is it fun?” Ask where the player first felt confused, whether a failure felt fair and whether they wanted another run. Those answers produce actionable revisions.
