Can Pocket Games Run in a Browser?
Some Pocket creations can be previewed from shared links in a browser.
Pocket gizmos are designed for the Pocket mobile app. We could not verify a general browser player or web-publishing option for creators as of September 2026.
What works now
Users can discover and play gizmos in Pocket’s feed and on creator profiles. The experiences may depend on mobile-only inputs such as device tilt, camera access and touch gestures, which complicates a universal desktop browser player.
Do not confuse a shared link with web export
A link can open an app landing page or deep-link into Pocket without making the gizmo playable on the open web. Before promising browser access, test the URL in a signed-out desktop browser and on a phone without Pocket installed.
If browser play is a requirement
Choose a web-first creator such as Rosebud or rebuild the prototype using HTML/JavaScript or a web-exporting engine. Make that decision before producing lots of Pocket-specific content or relying on sensor features.
Features, pricing and terms can change quickly. Recheck the linked sources and current official terms before making a commercial or platform decision.
